"Why are you here?" Lyre glanced around to be certain there was no one hiding in the shadows, watching them.

"It has been more than four days, my king." Veryn bowed. "You promised to send messages, but I've not gotten any."

"I changed my plans." Lyre folded his arms, "I underestimated the Tarmixan king. He's not as simple as I thought he was."

"Not simple? Or you are too smitten with him to do anything?" Veryn scrunched his nose in disgust.

"Watch your words, Veryn." Lyre snapped at him. He narrowed his eyes to slits as he gave Veryn a scorching glare. "What I do has nothing to do with you."

"It does. You are my king. Whatever you do concerns me. I let you get married to the king because of your great plans. But now it seemed like there was no plan, to begin with."

"There is." Lyre turned his back to Veryn. He folded his arms and glared at the tress. Behind him was the ocean he left, to be with Rain.
