Inspiration In Unexpected Places

Henry made it to the main hallway of the castle in little time, his armor clanking all the way. He found the other knights in no time but he was surprised to see Commander Lothian missing. Only Alix had been filled in on the whereabouts of the commander and why he was taking a bit longer than the others to come inside. 

The second in command took Henry to the knights' area within the castle right away where the highest of the Knights of Hydrogia and Royal Knights of Peroda would be going head to head in competition. It was supposed to be all in good fun, but the atmosphere felt heavy to Henry. 

Though perhaps it was because he was going to be the final act. 

After all the competitions were complete and they would tally up whether or not the Royal Knights or the citizens' knights won, then Henry would come out with a surprise from his majesty - one final test of his strength before he was willing to throw out any titles.
