Henry paused outside of the door where he would walk into the dining hall and join the knights of his future and a few from his past. The moment was starting to feel more significant than he could have ever imagined. Even if they opposed him, they were honorable enough to keep their opinions to themselves so far.
As he contemplated his entrance, he realized they didn't have to like him, they only had to accept him as their leader and offer him the respect that he earned. He was intent on proving himself and he didn't mind if it took months for that to happen.
Once he made his presence known, the voices of the knights became instantly more hushed and he faced the room with a thudding heart, feeling like he was walking into a pit of wolves willingly.
However, Felix sat amongst Knights of Chemois and Knights of Hydrogia who intermingled effortlessly. It made Henry feel lighter.
"Commander, over here," Felix called out across the room.
