The Knights of Chemois found relief since the days they spent in Idona were particularly easy. It was so laid back that they even started sparring with one another in the square, being sure that they were still well-practiced even if they hadn't seen monsters in a few days.
Siverly was the one doing the most work. Rather than returning to the inn where Henry had saved him a room, he opted to stay at Katerina's home. It surprised no one that such an antisocial mage would prefer a quiet house rather than an inn full of rowdy knights.
However, Henry couldn't help wondering how Katerina's health was, and, to his relief, after a day of rest and the mage constantly cooking her dense meals and giving her healing magic, she seemed to have returned to her usual, dangerously flirtatious self.
That particular day, Henry was sparring with Bren.
