On the way back to the inn, Henry didn't know what he would say to the other knights.
It was already planned that he was going to eat with the Litharions, but Irene showing up in tears to retrieve him wasn't in the cards. Henry knew that they wouldn't be able to hide forever. He had a desire to marry her after all. He simply wasn't expecting it to go this way and there was always the possibility that this would change the opinion of those who had only just given him their favor.
By the time he arrived at the inn, Henry saw that most of the knights had returned to their rooms. There were only a few still up and kicking but it was obvious to him that many had too much to drink. It was the first time the entire trip he allowed his men to let loose.
Sitting at one of the tables by himself was Felix who seemed to be holding himself together despite the mug of ale on the table in front of him.
Henry walked up to the table.
