The Worst Possible Truth

Siverly didn't know whether or not to be honored or irritated by Henry's request but, after finding out how much Irene meant to the duke, he knew it wasn't a request he could decline.

He received a letter from Blade telling him to go to the Litharion's home as soon as possible. There could only be one reason and he was dreading if he would have to give bad news.

However, there was a strange request from the duke and he was tasked with bringing an unbelievably heavy sword with him. He certainly wouldn't be able to carry it on his belt considering his slight frame but he had a knight connect it to his horse's saddle and decided it was good enough for the time being.

The knights were worried about Siverly traveling alone, but he assured them that no monster could get past a magical barrier if he put in enough mana.
