Chapter 8: Ashigawa Clan

I was thinking of a way to slay the Giant,but regarding it's intellect,it bugs me it also the first time Im encountering this kind of variant,
no matter.
"Come forth,"I ordered and 8 jōnin Shinobis appeared before me,
"milord,what are your orders"they answered
"I want you to help me find a way to slay a giant,"I said
they're face filled with confusion and one of them answered,
"milord, why do you need a plan to slay a giant they're just a bunch of muscle brains and particularly slow,"he said
"true,but that giant annihilated the third unit,"I answered
they were surprised by how a giant annihilated the third unit,
"but that's impossible,kijiramas group may not be the strongest but they're expertise in slaying collosal monsters are peerless even amongst the genins," they answered
"that's what I thought aswell,but this Giant is different, even if it managed to kill most of the third unit, atleast one of them managed to survive and inform us about what happened, instead of a messenger bird,"I answered
"this..."they were too stunned to answer
"nevermind that, we must find a way slay it, but we don't even have the information about it's whereabouts and how it looks"I said,
"isn't it just a giant with large stone cub or trees as a weapon,"the youngest jōnin replied
"indeed,but if the weapon is only a club how come kijirama and his team would be defeated by a mere giant,even though it's slow,and with their speed they could just tire it out,if that's the case they would've return safely,"I answered
"umm..." the young jōnin could not answer
"(sigh),very well back to the topic I want all of you to create an array large enough to trap a Giant we'll use the [seal of a thousand demons]"I suggested
"What?!milord isn't it just a giant it might be slightly stronger than most giants,but do you really have to use the forbidden technique of the Ashigawa Clan for a giant!?"the jōnin in black answered,
"this giant is not normal,it might be a variant of any giants out there with intelligence we must do every measure to-,"right when I'm in the middle of the conversation a genin appeared,
"milord!I have brought the dead body of lord kijirama and his group"the genin said
"where?lead the way!"I ordered
"Yes,milord!" he answered
as I and the group of jōnins followed the genin Into the morgue, there it was the dead body of my dearest friend kijirama,
"tell me where did you find their body?"I asked
"to the dark forest milord 100 miles from here"he answered
I wanted to ask why we didn't hear the battle especially kijirama's group are specialized in
explosions,smoke bombs and lightning jutsu that are loud enough to be heard from hundreds of miles away,
but that's when I remembered kijirama also created a unique assassination technique which is the [Shadow domain] made to prevent any sound from coming out from a certain amount of range,
This angered me more when I realized what kijirama had done,why would he do that? he knew he's no match for it,he didn't even use the firecracker to inform us if there's an enemy coming.
the moment I entered the infirmary,
I glanced at the corpses,and observed each one of them,one was sliced in half leaving only the the upper body and some were deformed beyond recognizable,and kijirama's body,it seems to be covered in scars and bruises,I'm starting wonder of how his body is completely intact,I started to get lost in a deep thought,reimagining the way he fought the giant,but to no avail there's nothing I could think of a way of how his body remained,
based on the characteristics of the giants they would rather eat or dissect the corpses and leaving them to rot,this is the first time a giant leave a corpse intact, even though I'm angry for the death of my friend,I'm also confused as to why a giant have this behavior,
while in a deep thought one of the doctors approached me and said,
"milord,the cause of Mr.kijirama's seems to be an internal injury and bleeding"he said,
(I Know that but my question is why did the giant spare kijirama's body?)I thought to myself
after thinking of of any possible outcome, of how kijirama's body is still preserved by a giant,I started to scratch my head and left, before I left I made a promise to kijirama,
"my friend,you may be dead but I promise you that I Hiroko akujin one of the leaders of the Ashigawa Clan,that I will avenge you and slay the giant and offer you his head in front of your grave,"I said with all my heart and Left
"milord,whats your plan?"they asked
"let's proceed to the plan,"I said
and proceeded to the office,and gathered all of the strategist,and discussed the plan...
a few hours later...
"we must lure the giant in the middle of the dark forest and activate the the [Seal of a thousand demons]
to restrict it's movements and buy us time to use our clans ultimate technique,"
I said
after a few explain actions of how powerful the giant is the clan members started to understand the situation,
"are you with me"I asked
"milord,we support you in you decision"
"lead the way my Lord and we shall follow"
"yes we will fight with you,with honor!" they answered
their answers put a smile on my face, happy of how loyal they are,
"good then get ready we'll go giant hunting"I ordered
"hura!"they shouted
after that we prepared all the necessary thing to prepare this is an all out war

little did they know the giant they were hunting was listening to their conversation,
preparing himself for the upcoming war, waiting excitedly for them to find him...
