ELI NEEDED HER

Eli was sitting on his chair with a 10-year-old patient in front of him. The child was looking pale, and the mother said he had been vomiting for quite a while already. He also suffered from stomach pain and diarrhea. He had a slight fever as well.

"When did he start to vomit?"

"Last night. He didn't even eat anything for dinner, but he kept vomiting in the middle of the night."

"Did you give him any medicine?"

"Yes, we did. We gave him medicine for fever and diarrhea, but none of them work, so we decided to bring him here."

The child was about to vomit again, and Eli told the mother to take him to the bathroom. There, the child puked, and Eli continued his diagnosis before giving them a tissue and bottled water.

Finally, Eli asked the child the question he'd been wanting to ask. "What did you eat before dinner?"
