HATERS FOR DIFFERENT REASONS

Allen came to Eli's office and seeing how his cousin looked, he felt relieved. "Thank God, you are fine," he muttered, but Eli still heard him.

"What could have happened to her when she was with me?" Eli questioned in disdain. "You know what, you should stop seeing her if you don't want anything bad to happen to her. I mean, you caused all this mess to happen. If you didn't invite her to eat out, no one would misunderstand your meeting with her."

Allen wanted to roll his eyes at this freaking doctor in front of him. [If you really care for her, you shouldn't have asked her to be your pretend girlfriend.] Though, he only said it mentally. "It's not my fault that jealous people would try to harm her using me. Besides, I don't have to feel guilty about it. You were there."

"Even if that is the case, you could have, at least, spoken on her behalf."

"And are you sure that people wouldn't become more suspicious if I talked?"
