Adnan is a slave.

Adnan came around from the weird experience to find the king restless beside him. The king seemed lost in thought as tears of despondency flowed down the side of his eyes.

He was pained by the sight. His heart yearned to ease the king's pain. Being that he wasn't conscious to witness what happened to him, Adnan was clueless about how to aid him.

Javier let out a deep breath. The mention of Soren's name was like a scratch to his wounds.

"I can see how much you loved and cared for him. Wherever he is, I am certain he misses you too," Adnan spoke. Unaware of how untrue his words were.

He did not know Soren's return and assumed the king was missing his lover again.

"I don't know who you are," the king recalled.
