Adnan is a slave.

With shaking hands, Adnan shoves the key of the king's room to the door and opens it. His had a bad feeling about his visit.

A part of him was scared Javier might not be happy to see him and the other part was hopeful that Javier missed him and wished to see him.

He walked into the room with a hesitant heart. The King was unpredictable and at times it was hard to know what he was to do. Predicting his reactions to situations was impossible.

Adnan scanned the room looking for the king. His eyes met two cold dangerous green grassy eyes that glared daggers at him. He froze on spot.

"Fancy seeing you here," Soren uttered coldly. He flashed Adnan a smile. A smile that makes everyone love him, one that Adnan finds terrifying.

Soren stalks towards him in long strides, and Adnan can't help but step back. Sensing the terrifying anger hidden behind his smile.
