114: Words are expensive

Adnan was forced to share a room with Javier. The king's man was adamant about bridging the gap between the two of them. 

Brandis hated the distance between Adnan and Javier. From a mile away he could see that the two of them were made for each other. However, circumstances were forcing them apart every time. 

The best way he could think of that would help Adnan and Javier was to have them sit down together and talk things out. 

The faceless demon was the enemy. It wasn't right that they fought among themselves when they can join forces and focus their energy on the common enemy they shared. 

"Listen, war doesn't decide who is wrong and who is right," he let out drawing both their attention. "It only decides who lives and who dies," he added. 

"If the king has his way, everyone would die except for the faceless monster because he is the one for the king," Adnan snapped.
