The referee's whistle was heard signifying, pause of play. Everyone's attention was now on the refree, while the people anticipated his judgement.

The player who was tackled was now out of play, sustaining an ankle injury, no one knew when he would be fit. Meanwhile, the player responsible for the foul was currently unaffected by all the drama, it was as though what he did was the right thing to do, that was until the referee brought out a red card.

The player responsible, Prosper, and his team mates, Team D, rushed to the referee trying to change the decision, even though slightly, to a yellow. Despite all their appeal, the referee's mind was final. Prosper was given a red card, sending him out the game. Team C was also awarded a penalty.

Team D was now in a tough spot. It could be said that they were now stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Team C quickly decided on who was going to take the penalty kick. Stepping towards the penalty spot, Team C's captain, Bernedict was the one to take the penalty kick.

Readying himself, and waiting for the signal from the referee, he thought of different ways to take this penalty, and successfully get a goal.

" Congratulations to the teams that won, and those that didn't, all hope was not lost, there was still a chance to make a name for yourself. All of you have performed exceptionally well, but as you know, not everyone one can make the team, only the best of the best can make it.

Although we would be glad if we could annouce the results right now, we cannot. We need some time to coallate the results. The results would be on the school's notice board in the next two days." The Coach said, and everyone was dismissed. All the players that gave their all to the game were anticipating the results, including John and Ray.
