I should be hard on her

Nora let out a sigh after hearing her out

"Wow! This is really surprising. But...don't you think it's necessary to hear her out?"

Angel turned to her with a deadly glare "Are you joking? Have you forgotten that she left me?"

Angel's eyes started to well up, and soon enough tears flowed from her round eyes.

"She left without even saying goodbye. I searched for her every day. I went to her office countless times but she didn't want to see me, and you want me to hear her out?"

"That woman has nothing to say, she would only blame it on dad who took care of me when she left."

Nora sat on the ground and hugged her "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. I'm so sorry"

"She left when I needed her the most. I trusted and supported her so much but instead, she left without notifying me.

She should have told me before leaving.

Even when she was sick, I skipped school for two weeks just to stay with her in the hospital but instead, she left me to handle that bloodsucking greedy husband of hers."

Angel sobbed for a while before speaking "Crying has made me suddenly hungry"

Nora laughed her heart out as she heard her friend's statement "Ha-ha"

They both cooked and ate joyously till they fell asleep.

Jason tried his best to avoid Nora throughout the day. It wasn't easy because she was his secretary.

As he was trying to push her away, she keeps holding on tightly and it was wearing him out.

Their long-awaited business trip was in two days. This meant they would be together in an enclosed space for a week.

"Maybe I should be hard on her. It would be better than ignoring her anyways"

Jason smiled at how smart he was before exiting the office.

Nora bowed as soon as Jason entered her office "Good afternoon sir"

"The trip is in two days and I want all the documents and files needed, to be submitted by 10 am tomorrow.

Get nice beautiful dresses as you know that appearance is the key in my world. I would also email my new schedule for tomorrow".

Jason turned around and left without hearing her out.

"This is so crazy. What is happening to him?

At first, he didn't want to see me and even planned everything by himself.

Now, he came directly to my office telling me to submit a document that would be used in three days"

In her frustration, she sat to start working immediately. Then she heard a knock, it was Assistant Anthony.

"Hi"

Nora ignored as she was angry.

"It's lunchtime, aren't you coming?"

"I'm working. I would skip lunch"

Anthony nodded and exited the office to get lunch.
