"Well, I see you're feeling better, but maybe go easy on the pillow fights for now," Christon remarked, a hint of amusement in his voice.
He entered the room holding the pillow that Alicia had intended to throw at Gloria.
Both the girls turned toward the source of the voice, surprise evident on their faces as they registered his presence.
"Prince Christon, I apologize for the impromptu pillow attack," Alicia apologized immediately.
"Please, not the title. Chris is enough. And, no harm done. Just take it easy and rest. We wouldn't want to add another patient to be bedridden in here, do we?" he chuckled, a friendly smile softening his features. His gaze then shifted to Gloria, who had quietened in his presence. A playful smirk broadened his lips as he observed her avoiding eye contact.
Alicia, sensing the tension, couldn't resist a teasing smile as she nudged Gloria's shoulder playfully.
