Dan's Guess

Dan's attention was immediately picked by Elias when he heard these words and he asked Elias

"What kind of peculiar behvaiour?"

"He kept repeating the same sentence again and again despite what I asked him. And his eyes were blank …as if he couldn't hear me at all. He looked as if he was standing in front of me but his brain was somewhere else."

Hearing Elias' words, Dan fell silent.

However, Dan also looked very somber. As he stroked his beard, he inhaled sharply.

Evelyn woke up exactly two hours later. Regan was by her side when she woke up.

"Evelyn…"

Regan called out softly when he saw that she was opening her eyes. Realizing that the room's brightness was making her uncomfortable, he immediately blew off the lamp placed on the bedside.

Evelyn opened her eyes slowly. There was confusion in her eyes for a few moments when she stared at Regan before she called out a few moments later.
