Trial Rewards

This silver cocoon is beating like a heart, with every so beat, a small gust of wind will be released upon its side.

As time passed, the cocoon became more and more dim, eventually, it was so dim that the silver color became more like a gray one.

Finally, after a day from the start, the cocoon shattered into pieces and was blown by the wind into dust all over the arena.

And a naked figure slowly fell from the cocoon and landed on the ground in a fetal position, just in time for Ye Lingling to open the door and she saw this scene.

She quickly stepped forward and put Xu Shuang into a trolley and dragged her over to her room inside the resting space.

A few hours later, Xu Shuang woke up from her sleep and looked around blankly while thinking of the three questions of life.

'Who am I? Where am I? And what am I doing here?'

Just as she thought of this the voice of the purple ball of light that dragged her into this trial sounded in her mind.

'Since you have completed the first trial, in addition to being a candidate to the heir, you also receive 10% Affinity with the Destruction Element.'

After the last word, Xu Shuang waited for a while, but no more words were heard from the voice.

Suddenly a mysterious force was injected into her body, and suddenly as if a whole new world opened up to her.

She seems to see other elements other than the steel and fairy elements she usually uses, this element is purple in color. [A/N: Steel and fairy elements are Gold and Life variant elements in Douluo World.]

It had a natural destructive aura around it that made other elements avoid it instinctively, making it seem isolated among all the other brightly colored elements.

But, maybe because of her affinity with the steel and fairy elements, these two elements around her interacted with the purple energy in the air.

The lonely purple energy seems to become cheerful as it played with the other two energies that interacted with it.

Xu Shuang had a feeling that she can slightly borrow the power of this element to cause destruction, this must be the element of destruction she thought as she felt the purple energy's destructive atmosphere.

' So the god position I'm currently a candidate for an heir for, is Hui Mie's God of Destruction position?'

'Then Ye Lingling's must be the Goddes of Life Sheng Ming's God Position, it makes sense since they are of the same attribute.'

'But, why did I got picked to be a candidate for Hui Mie's God of Destruction position when all my attributes have nothing to do with destruction.'

' Let's think about these later, I should just be happy that I have a God Position that I can inherit this early into the plot, by the time Tang San came into contact with his, I should be near to succeeding Hui Mie's God position.'

Xu Shuang smiled thinking of the God position, then she got out of bed and searched through the rooms to find Ye Lingling.

She then found her sitting in the inside garden of this resting place, crazy right? This resting place even has an Indoor pool!

Seeing her sitting on the table while looking at the small animals playing around in the small garden, Xu Shuang silently got behind her and wrapped her arms around Ye Lingling.

"They're so cute, aren't they? I wished to also have kids like them, don't you also want kids like them, Lingling?" Xu Shuang asked in a soft voice into Ye Lingling's ears, blowing hot air into them.

" I also want cute kids like them, Xu Shuang. But, we're both females! How could we ever have kids with just the two of us?" Ye Lingling sighed sadly at their own fate.

"But, nevertheless even if I'm asked to make the decision to pick someone to love, a thousand out of a thousand, I will still choose you to love all of my life." Ye Lingling declared with a soft expression of love.

Xu Shuang felt that Ye Lingling looked so cute with that expression and then she felt sweet with what Ye Lingling declared, so much so that she can't hold herself back, so Xu Shuang just picked up Ye Lingling on her shoulders and headed back to her room.

"Wait a minute! What are you doing, Xu Shuang! Don't you want to talk about your rewards first?" Ye Lingling panicked with a red face as she wiggled on Xu Shuang's shoulder.

"Talking about rewards can wait later, I haven't had a taste of you for half a month, Hehehe, I've been rather thirsty lately." Xu Shuang laughed wretchedly with a face like those of a hooligan.

"You rogue! Be honest and let go of me." Ye Lingling shouted but didn't make any efforts to be let go.

"Hehehe, the mouth is so sharp but the body is really honest." Xu Shuang let out another wretched laugh as they reached the bedroom, to which Xu Shuang kicked open the door.

Xu Shuang threw Ye Lingling on the big bed roughly, and quickly jumped in herself and pinning her to the bed. Then with one swift movement sealed Ye Lingling's lips with her own.

Ye Lingling didn't resist and opened her mouth cooperatively and tangle her tongue with Xu Shuang and reached onto Xu Shuang's clothes and started to undress her.

Xu Shuang also stretched out a hand and started to undress Ye Lingling with one hand, while still keeping the kiss until now.

When their upper garments are off their bodies, they stopped kissing to take a breath of air, Xu Shuang panted with red cheeks as she muttered.

"Lingling, I love you."

"Xu Shuang, I love you too." Ye Lingling panted with a red face as she then pulled Xu Shuang for another kiss.

As the bed shook by their dance, their enchanting voice echoing throughout the whole room, along with a sweet smell permeating in the room.

The sounds only stopped in the early hours of the morning as both girls lay side by side on the bed tainted by sweat and some other unknown liquid.

"Lingling, perhaps when we both become a god, there will be a solution for us to have children of our own." Xu Shuang comforted Ye Lingling regarding the situation earlier.

"En." Ye Lingling nodded with a smile as she rested her head and body in Xu Shuang's embrace.

While Hui Mie was cuddling with his wife, he received the notification about Xu Shuang and Ye Lingling completing their trials.

"It's about time you two completed those trials, but, it actually took her only two challenges to complete her trial."

" That spirit beast was hand picked by me and perfectly counters every aspect Xu Shuang is good at, it should only when she unlocks her absolute strength and use it to overpower that spirit beast."

"What do you think, Sheng Ming?" Hui Mie asked his wife in his arms for her opinion regarding this matter.

"Well, she should have her own encounters that allowed her to win against the dragon, but moving on, have you ever thought of the next trial for the two of them?"

"Lu Shen's inheritor seems to be participating in that genius academy tournament right? Let's have them also participate in that competition and piss Lu Shen off even more." Hui Mie grinned evilly.

"But, let's break the news on them next morning, as it looks like they are currently resting." Sheng Ming pointed at the screen showing Xu Shuang and Ye Lingling sleeping.
