Birthday celebration

"Hurry up, Xu Shuang! You don't want to be late for your birthday celebration, you already didn't come home for the party last year, let's make it for the last birthday this time!" Wei Meiron shouted from downstairs.

"Coming! This dress is such a pain to wear!" Xu Shuang scolded while walking down from upstairs in a pastel pink hanfu.

Wei Meirong's eyes lit up when she saw Xu Shuang in the hanfu, she looked so cute in that dress, especially with her small height enhancing her cuteness. [A/N: Xu Shuang is roughly around 154 cm, a bit shorter than the average height of Chinese people.]

Xu Shuang is wearing a pastel pink hanfu, with golden lines and cranes embroidered on the dress, she's wearing a cute pink hammer hairpin on her head, and her overall attire matches well with her strawberry-colored hair.

"Kyuuu!" Wei Meirong squealed in delight as she hugged Xu Shuang suffocating Xu Shuang in her huge honkers.

"M-mom... I n-need air." Xu Shuang repeatedly patted her mom's arm, but the arm didn't seem to plan to let go of her.

The door to the house opened and Ye Lingling walked in wearing a green hanfu with begonia embroidered all over the dress, and wearing a small white begonia hairpin on her hair.

"Ling..ling... save... me." Xu Shuang pleaded and extended her hand to Ye Lingling, but all of that served to invite one more wolf to the feast.

Ye Lingling's eyes lit up when she saw Xu Shuang and extended her wolfish paws and joined in suffocating Xu Shuang, with her face this time since they were about the same height. [A/N: It's a cute short couple. :D]

Over time, Xu Shuan'g struggle became weaker and weaker, until her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and fainted in Ye Lingling's and Wei Meirong's arms.

"Oh." Ye Lingling and Wei Meirong had an embarrassed expression on their face when they saw Xu Shuang's condition, if one entered they might suspect that they knocked Xu Shuang out, well, that isn't far from the truth.

But, it's not like they meant to, it was an accident they swear, they put Xu Shuang down on a couch and fanned her face, hoping for her to wake up soon.

"Meirong! Is Xu Shuang already dressed up? All the preparations have been made and we can start any time." Xu Jingguo's voice came from the outside, and Wei Meirong's and Ye Lingling's faces paled at the voice.

Along the way to the party venue, many people they met along the way greeted Xu Shuang with a happy birthday, Xu Shuang smiled in response and thanked them.

Not long after they arrived at a small forest grown with pink cherry trees and decorated to look more beautiful than the original look.

Xu Tianshan looked her way and saw Xu Shuang, he stood up excitedly and announced loudly.

"The protagonist of the party has arrived!"

Everyone inside the venue collectively looked at the entrance of the forest, they saw Xu Shuang and Ye Lingilng holding hands walking under a wooden arch.

The way they walked made the scene more like a wedding party than a birthday party, like two brides walking under the wedding arch to the end of the hall.

'Those two are so pure!' This thought arose from every person in the venue, Xu Shuang and Ye Lingling looked so pure walking down the red carpet laid out in front of the arch.

As sunlight shone on their faces enhancing their already pure appearance and atmosphere, they held their breaths afraid to defile this pure scenery.
