"Nori?" Karina called when the call connected.
"Oh, thank God. You sound way better than the last time we spoke. How are you feeling?" Nori questioned, smiling brightly as relief washed over her.
"I'm fine. I feel a lot better." Karina chuckled.
"Sorry, I couldn't inform you I won't be returning. This guy here took us unawares."
"It's alright. Gideon already explained everything to me. I hope you finish on time and come back. I couldn't sleep last night."
"Same here. I literally have raccoon eyes right now."
The two of them laughed out loud, catching the attention of the people with them. While Zara moved away from Gideon and sat close to Karina, Godeon let out a sigh.
All the effort he had put into deciphering what Karina was had proved abortive. He was tired, his head was almost exploding from the frustration.
From their conversations and interactions so far, it was clear that there was immense love between the girls.
