Salma's jaws dropped when they walked into the library, while Gideon's brows flew up as surprise registered on his face.
The surprise, however, didn't last because something else overtook his features. His brows knitted together as memories of his worst experiences came flooding into his mind. Experiences he would have escaped if he hadn't gone into that library that day.
Much as he knew it was not the same library, he could feel that evil beast he had locked away trying to scratch its way to the surface.
"What in the world's list of unbelievable things is this?" Salma muttered the question as her eyes swept the entire place.
Right before her eyes was what she could call the biggest library she had ever laid eyes upon. How can such a place exist in a mountain? There were rows upon rows of shelves, which contained not just books, but different orbs, vials, potions, and scrolls as well. Some other things that were not so pronounced were there also.
