"Okay, that's it." Salma dropped her phone and turned her head and body to face Celeste. "What is going on with you?" She questioned, concern plastered on her face.
The girl had been sighing continuously since they returned to dragon valley that night and Salma couldn't take it anymore.
Celeste, who was laying down on her back, didn't respond immediately. Her mind went through all she had been thinking about throughout that day and another sigh slipped out, howbeit, a silent one.
"What's bothering you, Celeste?" Salma questioned again, having received no response to the previous one she asked.
"Everything. You, me, how everything changed overnight. All our dreams, aspirations, plans, everything. Right now, I feel lost, like I have been thrown into the middle of an endless desert and left alone." Celeste answered, her eyes fixed on the ceiling of the cave.
