NO.

With knitted brows, Salma watched Gideon sleep. They had returned to the palace, leaving Jadon and Sir Everest to handle the situation at vampire city.

After asking severally, Veron finally explained everything going on with Gideon to her. It shocked her to know that he had been suffering from such a problem for a long time. And to hear that he had returned the book, which supposedly was the bone of contention, yet the sorcerer refused to let him go, infuriated her.

"How long is he going to be like this?" Salma questioned, worried sick. She couldn't get the picture of Veron hitting his head against the ground until he lost consciousness out of her head. But she couldn't complain or get angry anymore after knowing the reason he had to do that.

"I'm not sure how long. But he should be fine when he wakes up." Veron answered.

"Can I get a moment with him? Alone?"

"Alone? Are you sure you want to do that?" Celeste questioned, her brows pulled together.
