I promise

When Salma stepped out of the palace, she found Celeste already seated on Elvis's back, and from the look on her face, she was in a bad mood.

"Are you okay?" Salma probed, joining her on the dragon's back.

Celeste flashed her a small smile. "I'm fine. Just kind of tired. Come on, Elvis."

Salma narrowed her eyes but didn't probe further. It was obvious she wasn't okay. She could sense great heaviness around her, but it seems she wasn't ready to talk about it yet.

Elvis flew them back to dragon valley where a small celebration was going on. The people were all smiles and filled with laughter after being told by the warriors who had already returned that the battle was won by them, and the vampires lost.

As soon as Elvis landed and they came down from his back, the dragon warriors rallied around them, chanting songs of victory with melodious voices. With the level of contagious joy radiating from them, Celeste couldn't help but push away her sadness.
