Ten minutes after Veron left the party, Gideon and Skye left as well and headed to their respective rooms. 

Feeling a little lightheaded after having a lot to drink, Gideon hit the bed immediately after he got to his room. The discussion he had with Salma and Veron earlier had been bothering him. He couldn't believe he finally found a possible solution to his greatest problem, but it had to involve Salma.

Grabbing his phone from his pocket, he dialed her number. After carefully thinking about it, he decided to do what Veron advised. He would have relaxed if she didn't already know Xelcio's name, knowing he stays in a library and is a sorcerer who has a daughter.

But she knew all that already, and with as little as that, she could decide to find him on her own and act without him knowing. 

"Hello," Salma picked up the call.

"Hey, you left without letting me know. Thought you said you'd be waiting outside."
