‘Well, doesn’t he look thrilled to see us?’ Zalena’s wolf snickered as they were standing there staring up at the Alpha. Zalena growled softly into her wolf’s mind since she was the one in control right now. 


‘I would be too. How would you feel if your fated mate ran away without an explanation and then came back looking for you?’ Zalena responded back to her wolf inside their mind as her wolf had taken a step backwards and then shook out her fur, a simple gesture to show that she meant him no harm which he had merely scoffed at in response. 


‘We… Have a lot of explaining to do.’ They both said at the same time to each other, bowing her head and waiting for him to make the first move. The Alpha had merely eyed them up, huffing as he had turned to leave. A soft whine had left her, a plea for him not to leave before she had the chance to explain herself.
