“I guess I never introduced myself formally to you.” Rowyn chuckled as he brushed his fingers along her features in a gentle manner. “Rowyn, Alpha of Elmwood Spring…” He introduced himself as he simply draped an arm around Zalena. “And… I wanted to say that I understand… The mote owner explained everything too… I can’t blame you for running away when you had so much going on.” He said. 


“This isn’t quite the way that I wanted to meet you…” Zalena whispered, though the Alpha seemed to have not heard her as he removed his arm from her and went to greet one of the other wolves that had come through. She sighed softly and sat back down next to Kairi, she hesitated for a moment before chugging her drink and then shifting on the couch so she was more comfortable. 


“See! I told you he couldn’t be mad at you!” Kairi chimed as she eyed a wolf that was coming towards them with interest.
