A light kiss to her forehead had Zalena grumbling in protest, a quiet chuckle echoed behind her as she buried her face against the pillow. “Come on, it’s nearly noon…” A deep voice said from beside her, to which she merely mumbled a quiet response, no doubt something along the lines of how she could sleep in after what he put her through the night before. 


“Zalena, darling, you need to get up… We have something important to talk about.” Rowyn spoke gently at the same time he had begun to pull the blankets back, the cold air from inside the hotel making her shiver in response. She opened one eye to glare at him, only eliciting another chuckle as he removed the blankets further from her. “I promise once we talk you can go back to sleep for however long you’d like.” He murmured quietly.
