Rowyn had left before sunrise the next morning, he had woken Zalena briefly to kiss her goodbye but didn’t force her to stay awake. She had mumbled a goodbye in response as he had crept out of the room with his bag in tow. But now, Zalena had wished that she had stayed awake a little longer to watch him go, after the vision she had received from the Moon Goddess, she had been uneasy all day.
