Rowyn had gotten Zalena back to Elmwood and settled in easily. Kairi had taken over care of her while he had made his way up to his study. His beta following close behind him, Rowyn took a seat at the desk and motioned for his beta to sit across from him. His wolf was already beginning to pace as though he wanted nothing more than to rip into the beta. 


“So, explain to me your thought process and why you had endangered my Luna?” Rowyn didn’t care that they didn’t hold a ceremony yet, that would be fixed tonight. They had agreed that when he came back from the council meeting, they would go to the elders and have them make Zalena his Luna officially without anyone around so they could announce it at their own pace. He had wanted it quieter, and Zalena had agreed but asked for Kairi to be there which he was more than happy to give in to.
