The cost of freedom —-2

" What does that mean?" Though she understood what he was trying to say Yin Zhu felt her heart thump when she realized the meaning of his words. If he was right then wouldn't it mean that the woman died for no reason —— no, it could be said that she died because she tried to attack someone she should not have much less kill them but if she died in vain then…doesn't it mean that her mate was alive?

When Yin Zhu turned her head and faced the three men who were heading towards their office, because she turned in a hurry, she almost twisted her feet and fell on her face but stopped herself as she spread her hands wide apart which stopped her momentum.

" You seem to have gotten smarter, Zhu'er," Situ Xun praised as he looked at Yin Zhu with a heated gaze. " Continue using that brain of yours, maybe you will find things that you cannot see before."

What was he saying? Did he mean to say that she was not using her head before?
