Mistaken identity

Yin Zhu's eyes widened when she saw the woman in front. She was dressed in a long black skirt with a shirt that had puffed-up sleeves. Her silver hair was dancing behind her in the wind while her red eyes glittered like rubies under the sunlight.

Behind her stood a man with red eyes and silver hair as he questioned, "This time we need a young child. The sacrifice needs the blood of an innocent."

"Mother," Yin Zhu whispered when she saw the woman turn around. Even though she was not looking at her, Yin Zhu felt her mother's gaze pointed at her.

Her mother looked completely different from the memories that Yin Zhu had of her. She was no longer smiling and had a blank expression on her face, her red eyes were coated with a layer of indifference and annoyance as she turned to look at the man behind her and then stated, "I know what I need to do, Brother Yang. There is no need for you to remind me, if it's the sacrifice of a child then we will get a child."
