Their Practice

Clyde glanced at the man and woman. They didn't look much older than him. However, they were probably already in their twenties.

It only shows from their appearance. In a place like this Clyde couldn't tell if someone's appearance really suited their age.

"It's fine. I'm not really dead," Clyde said in an even tone.

The two of them still had guilty faces. But a moment later they tried to lighten the mood and change the subject.

"So uhh... your name is Clyde?" said the man. "I'm Wayne. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Lahn," said the short-haired woman. "I hope what happened earlier doesn't affect our further friendship."

Lahn glanced at Clyde with a warm smile. Filled with the hope that her words just now would come true.

However, Clyde could not immediately answer her words. The bitter feeling of having just experienced a cruel betrayal suddenly felt like a sting in his chest.
