This time, Clyde took the initiative, closing the distance first. In the blink of an eye, he was upon the Demon King, swinging his clear blade.

Asmodeus raised both hands to block the attack, but even then, he was forced backward. He gritted his teeth and lashed out with a kick.

Twisting his body, Clyde narrowly avoided the strike. Instead, he pivoted his sword and swung in a fast arc toward Asmodeus' leg.

Elderglass met flesh, but before it could cut through, a surge of Hellfire erupted around Asmodeus' leg, stopping the blade just inches away.
