Surviving until Clyde arrived in the middle of such a dangerous situation—where Uriel's warriors had turned into monsters—was far from easy.
At first, Asqa thought she only needed to hide since the corrupted warriors would focus solely on Uriel. However, her assumption was wrong.
The warriors had begun to spread in all directions, no longer solely fixated on Uriel. It was as if they had just realized how terrifying her flames were and decided to avoid her.
As they scattered, Asqa noticed some heading toward the building where the other followers had fled—Uriel's own residence—and began pounding on the door.
However, others dispersed throughout the domain, and some even turned toward Asqa herself before she could find a place to hide.
Asqa cursed under her breath as two corrupted warriors landed in front of her. Their wings, once pristine white, were now charred and blackened.
