She was well aware of his monstrous nature and knew she shouldn't be keeping company with him, but he had saved her life and she felt compelled to express her appreciation. Given that her horse had been taken, he allowed her to ride his horse home while he walked, an act of compassion beyond any Sucy had ever encountered. She thanked him and said she would repay the kindness if necessary.

A few days ago, he decided to take advantage of that courtesy by sending a masked letter to her in which he formally requested her assistance. Although she knew she was violating the law by helping him out, Sucy ultimately determined it was worth it to do so since she owed him a favor.

When she finished reading the letter, she sighed heavily and pulled out a blank scroll, sitting down to write her own response.
