To the Elven Ruins Part 6

Dax pressed his hand on the ornate door of precious metals. As he touched it the door began to glow faintly with a green light. The door then slowly opened to reveal the village he had just left.

Only the village was not in ruins, instead everything was in pristine and beautiful condition. Instead of the roaming dead, Dax saw elves walking and interacting with one another, enjoying their lives.

"Am I in the past?" Dax asked, looking around to make sure of his surroundings. "That shouldn't be possible… right?"

"Hello there." A male elf said from the side of Dax. "I haven't seen you here before, are you visiting from another village?"

"You can see me?" Dax asked, while pointing to himself.

The elf raised his brow as he examined Dax more closely. "Yes, I can see you…" He said, confusion could be heard in his tone. "Is there any reason I shouldn't see you?"

"No." Dax said swiftly. "No reason at all."
