Chapter 152 Making the first City Base

Lilith looked at Rex and simply decided to explain more about the Heavenly Realm.

"I suppose I should start with the Heavenly Law. It will take a little bit, but please bear with me."

Lilith went and found some water. She knew she would need it.

"For the major laws in the Heavenly Realm. There are a total of five. In the minority there are too many to count, and most of them are unless."

Lilith made sure that everyone was paying attention. Afterward, she got a sip of water.

"The first Heavenly Law. If someone or something is defenseless. Nothing is allowed to attack or harm it, directly or indirectly. If the person or beast deserves to die, it is because the Heavens desire that person or beast to die. If the person or beast gets healed, it was the will of the Heavens. Does everyone understand?" Everyone nodded.

"So Rex, that should answer your question. The same applies to him. Although he was weakened and tried to attack. I could not kill him, I did manage to knock some sense into him, though." Lilith looked at the frightened locust.

"The second Heavenly Law. Do not bet higher than what you own. If you lose more than what you own. Your life will be forfeited by the Heavens."

Lilith looked around.

The faces were a little scared but still paying attention. She got another sip of water.

"The third Heavenly Law. Not a single being can force themselves into a Soul Mate. If you like a person, you have to tell them directly. If you try to force a Soul Mate or force yourself upon that person. There are worse things in life than death."

Bella was terrified of entering into another Heavenly Realm. Demon Rex did not want to bother anyone in the Heavenly Realm. Rex was quite pleased to hear that.

"The fourth Heavenly Law. Always know where your party members are. If you do not, your life will be handed to beasts. I do not know what a party is, so I do not understand this law."

Rex found it funny that this was a law. Lilith understood that Rex knew what a party was.

"Care to explain what a party is, husband?" Lilith tried to hold in her anger.

"We are currently a party." Rex said.

Lilith looked at the group. She felt this was more than stupid.

"You mean a party is another word for group?" Lilith questioned.

"A party is usually more people with a common goal. There might be some people you know in the group but mostly strangers. We would be more of a Sect team." Rex answered.

Lilith understood what Rex was saying. She found it funny that Rex would know stuff like this.

"Husband, you are so smart. I am glad you have taken my first time." Lilith smiled.

Rex smiled nervously. He did not know that Lilith was a virgin before. He also felt guilt because he did not get a chance to enjoy it.

"Time for the final Heavenly Law. Bases can only be used by the person who allows others inside. For the most part, if a person has built a Heavenly Base. They are there, or someone they trust is there for protection. The bases are allowed to heal injured people or tired people to rest. There is discrimination in the Heavenly Realms, but in a Heavenly Base, there is absolutely none. There are worse things than fighting in hell for your Soul." Lilith smiled.

That smile frightened the others. They understood that Lilith had been in charge of that before.

"We need to make a place where people around here won't be harmed." Rex said.

He got healed, and the group went out. Finding a hotel, Rex decided to make this his base. Instead of a pinkish glow, it was more of an orangish glow. When the base lit up, it was covered in a black ooze.

Rex heard a Ding.

"Congratulations on creating a Heavenly Base in a City."

"Create ten more Heavenly Bases in cities, towns, and/or villages to increase defense of a Heavenly Base in a city, town, and/or village."

"New Quest Create a total of 10 Heavenly Bases in cities, towns, and/or villages."

"Reward will be how your future Heavenly Bases out in the wild will be designed."

"Once the design is complete, no matter the Heavenly Bases in the wild. They will automatically be upgraded with the design you choose."

Rex smiled at the Quest. He did not know why he could get Quests on Earth. He was going to take every advantage he could.

Once, Lilith saw that Rex was no longer in a daze.

"I think this ooze is because you are a Demon King, Husband." Lilith said.

She had seen plenty of Heavenly Bases. This was the first time she had seen one with this black ooze.

Rex opened the door. He went inside, seeing the inside being nice. He decided to start putting people inside.

"Everyone, I want your full attention." Rex said.

Everyone looked at Rex.

"We need to find all the people around that are alive and bring them inside. I will stand close by and help when I need to. I need to learn more about what my bases in cities, towns, and villages will do. I hope to join you all soon." Rex commanded.

"Your will will be done." Bella bowed.

"Of course, Your Majesty." Demon Rex bowed.

"I promise to do the best I can Husband." Lilith waved.

"Mr. Locust. I want the rest of your kind to help my wife and those guys. If you do not want to be burned to death." Rex glared.

"I will help. The rest of my kind is stronger and won't listen to me." The locust answered.

"Is there a King or Queen Locust?" Rex asked.

"Yes. There are ten Locust Kings and nine Locust Queens." The locust bowed.

"Tell them that a new King has appeared. He wants to deal with them personally. Lead them to me." Rex smiled.

The Locust went away to find all the King and Queen Locusts.

Rex smiled evilly.

The silent notification came through.

"Your desires are at a total of 0.2%."

"Each desire you want increases by 0.1%."
