In the middle of the mountains, a valley of fruitious nature could be seen. It did not matter if the trees were fruity or not. Each tree had something hanging down from it.
On the sides of a well walked path were a lot of herbs. Some painstakingly were taken extra care of. While others just needed some weeds pulled out from around them.
"This place is always remarkable." A grown male Warrior Angelic Faction man walked.
Without wasting anymore time, he plucked a herb up. Smelling, it reminded him of working extremely hard for something that would always be cherished.
"Such a great smell." The man said.
He opened his wings to reveal a hairy man. Even through the clothing he was wearing, everyone could tell that he was extremely hairy.
"Former Beastman Champion." Another man walked up.
This man has black pointed wings. The original man had feathered black wings.
"Vampire Angelic King." The Beastman Champion replied.
The two almost were in a staring contest with how much the ends of their hair were standing up, just waiting for a moment for one to blink.
"The human named Rex is an uninvited guest in the Calamity Battle. He did get the letter, but it seems that he wants to destroy what the Alpha Apex has been working on." The Vampire Angelic King spoke.
"I say let him. Everything either survives or dies. It is only a matter that each day can bring on. If Rex cannot do it, then he was too weak to destroy what the Alpha Apex had been building." The Beastman Champion replied.
"So you are staying neutral then?" The Vampire Angelic King replied with a stern look.
"If he needs help to survive, I will help him survive for another day. If he can destroy what the Alpha Apex is building, I will let him. I will not allow a weak cultivator to die within my grasp if I am able to. I will stand back and watch a powerful cultivator fight. That is my answer." The Beastman Champion replied.
"What if the Alpha Apex does not like your answer?" The Vampire Angelic King bowed.
"Then he will have to kill me outside this territory. All Apex creatures have signed the treaty to protect this area, including himself or herself." The Beastman Champion replied.
"Very well." The Vampire Angelic King answered with a wide grin.
The Beastman Champion had fought him enough to know what that grin was. That was the grin of taking a family member as a hostage.
"Either one is siding with him, or he uses an ability to make the hostage come." The Beastman Champion thought.
"I will have to take her again, and this will have to be the final time because another will make him suspicious of our agreement." The Vampire Angelic King thought.
The two parted on bad terms.
Meanwhile
"I want to help Master Rex in whatever shape or form it takes." Bella spoke to Iris.
"Why is a maid so eager to help her Master?" Liz spoke, entering the conversation.
"First off, he is my Master. I have to obey his or her orders unless it involves a life or death order. Second, I have had him inside of me. I will do whatever it takes to let him use me just for another chance to have him inside of me. Lastly, he let my mother live when he should have killed her on the spot. Being born a human, let him decide not to utterly rip my mother to shreds like any other demon would have." Bella replied.
A knock on the window happened, and the butler was standing outside.
"Yes." Iris spoke.
"Master Rex has left for the Calamity Battle." The butler spoke.
"Good. Now, it is time for us to leave. Tell everyone to grab their belongings and head there." Iris ordered.
"As you command, milady." The butler replied.
Since there was not much to grab. Everyone had quickly departed from the worn-out building and made their way to the Calamity Battle, this also included the two people who attacked Rex downstairs.
In the Apex Layer
"It seems that the human is heading towards the Calamity Battle. Who is going to win?" The Apex Carnivore asked.
"The human." The Apex Herbivore replied.
"Of course, the Alpha Apex." The Apex Flyer said happily.
The Apex Swimmer did not see nor hear the conversation because she was trying to find the answers due to the face showing up in her layer.
"I believe the human will." A strange voice echoed.
"Who goes there?" The Apex Carnivore roared.
"It is I, the Apex Spider." It replied.
Everyone frowned because the Apex Spider had not been around in a while.
"What brings you back from the Seventh Realm?" The Apex Flyer replied angrily.
"A Heavenly Spider." The Apex Spider replied.
Everyone turned their attention to the Apex Spider. It had long silky black hair and four red eyes toward the side of the head and four black eyes looking forward.
"It seems like you have grown while away." The Apex Herbivore replied.
"Not really. I have just let my natural instincts guide me. Until I felt the presence of the Heavenly Spider here in the Apex Layer. It also seems like it has visited each of you. Care to explain?" The Apex Spider asked.
"There is only one way for a Heavenly Spider to have visited us. That is with the human." The Apex Flyer growled angrily.
"No need to be so angry." The Apex Spider replied.
"THAT HUMAN DESTROYED ALL OF MY HOUSES AND MOUNTAINS!" The Apex Flyer roared.
"You did deserve it, though." The Apex Carnivore replied.
"ENOUGH!" The Apex Flyer back off.
A single leap and the Apex Spider was out of the Apex Layer.
"Now, it's time to find the Apex Elemental and team up with him." The Apex Spider replied.
Five different groups were now heading towards the Calamity Battle. The first group was Rex and the Apex Elemental. The second group is Iris and the others. The third one was the Apex Spider. Group four was the Apex Predator and the Alpha Apex. The final group was those from the Warrior Angelic Faction. The time to shine and dine or to be shadowed over and forgotten was coming for the Apex creatures.
