Chapter 344 War news pt 1

A week before the war

Rex was casually watching his city become stronger. He was proud that the people here were willing to become stronger. It was then that he got a notification.

"War in the Third Realm"

"Prevent the War and gain human recognition but lose the recognition of the demihumans.

Fight against the humans and earn the recognition of the Mortal Humans but the human cultivators, nobles, and royalty in the Third Realm will no longer accept you."

Rex saw the notification and did not understand why the human recognition would make him lose the recognition of the demihumans. He knew the best thing to do currently was talk to his loved ones and Nephelem.

He called them to his house. Everyone sat down and listened to what he said. They were surprised at what was said.

"What are you going to do?" Nephelem asked.

"I want you to go visit the other human kingdoms and see what is going on. I do not have any knowledge of what is going on. If it is because of the demihumans. Then war will be waged and there will only be me winning by force." Rex said.

"Why not try the demihumans out?" Ophiuchus asked.

"They will freak out. Besides, they need to know how strong their founder is." Rex said.

Nephelem agreed. He wanted to know the depths of Rex's strength. He knew that he had not seen all of it.

"Shall I go now or wait?" Nephelem asked.

"Immediately." Rex said.

"What weapons are you going to use?" Iris asked.

"Common Third Realm Axes." Rex replied.

"I will go get them." Iris said happily.

Liz looked at Rex.

"I take it we will need to film the war?"

"We can." Rex said.

Liz went to go get a crystal that can do short filming and replay.

"Margaret, Amber, Bella, and the two vampire maids. Get the walls prepared for war. We do not how many people will come here first." Rex commanded.

"We hear and obey." Bella and the two vampire maids replied.

"We got this." Amber said.

"Do not be so serious. Relax and keep yourself loose because that will cause you to mess up during the war." Margaret said.

Rex was happy to have such good women close to him.

"What about me Rex?" Ophiuchus asked.

"I am going to fetch a black cloak. I will return a day before the war starts." Rex said.

This cloak was one that he favored in the Third Realm.

Nephelem visited a human kingdom and heard that because Eden was full of demihumans that they would wage war against them eventually. The only way to stop it was to forge a path of destruction.

Nephelem laughed internally at the words. He knew his new friend would not allow for such things to happen.

"Time for war." Nephelem thought.

He raised a corpse and sent a letter to Eden.

Nephelem started on his way to another human kingdom before being recalled by Ophiuchus.

"That was quick." Nephelem hurried across the Third Realm.

Nephelem arrived a day before the war started. Ophiuchus filled Nephelem on the news of war on Eden.

"So many kingdoms are coming?" Nephelem worriedly said.

"Yes." Ophiuchus said.

She had sent her brethren to the other human kingdoms. They knew how many were coming and how fast they were.

"When is Rex returning?" Nephelem asked.

"Sometime today." Ophiuchus said.

A black cloak was blowing in the wind. An aura of death seemed to surround the figure coming in.

The aura was noticed by everyone. Nephelem even thought a stronger necromancer had appeared in the Nine Mortal Realms.

When the hood came off and the people saw Rex. They noticed the change in his eyes. It seemed like a switch had been flipped.

"Such is life." Ophiuchus worried about Rex.

Nephelem knew that this was a great opportunity to see what Rex was truly capable of.

"How long till the armies arrive?" Rex asked.

"They will be here either tomorrow or the following morning at sunrise." A dragon replied.

"Good. Time for war." Rex replied.

Everyone in Eden was called to a meeting. Once there were no strangers.

"Everyone war is coming to us." Rex started.

Everyone started to gasp. They were not fully prepared for the calamity much less a war now.

"Fear not. For I, Johnny, Ophiuchus, and my wives will be the front lines. The other dragons here will protect the city. We will make a recording. This is to get the ones entering the calamity used to seeing the scenes of war."

The crowd felt a little tense. That was because they had no idea what was going to happen. They knew the chances of survival would increase for the calamity by seeing the carnage. No one knew how much carnage would come with Rex.

"For those who still wish to participate in the calamity after seeing the carnage. You all will get a chance to wage a war against a human kingdom. For the humans are the ones attacking us tomorrow or the following sunrise."

The people lifted their arms and hopes of a sure victory.

"Ophiuchus has made gravemarkers made out of gold. Whoever wishes to depart for a human kingdom for war. Spend the following nights like there is no tomorrow. You will not know if there will be one." Rex finished.

The crowd went back to their home. For any Angelic Builder that was a male and old enough to fight. Got a gold gravemarker, as if they decided to use it or not. That was completely on them.

For the Foxmen, One and Two Tailed Foxes were stopped from entering this war. That was because most of them had not completed their training yet.

For Three Tailed Foxes and up. The males were the first ones to be signed up. If a male did not want to fight, then the female could. If neither one did, then the eldest child had to fight.

This was to have each family in the war. Although no one would now how the war against the human kingdoms would go. The human kingdoms became fearful of Rex and his town.
