Rex once again cleaned his feet at the mansion he was in. He hated killing humans because of the upcoming War. However, he knew deep down some of the most evil acts had to be dealt with and most of the time ended up with him killing the humans.
"Humanity is not worthy of saving as time passes on. The Nine Realms need to be saved for future generations and humans will always be at the forefront of that." Rex spoke in disgust as he finished his cleaning.
"Well, time to head to the Oracle's house." Rex spoke outside the mansion.
He gently walked with a smile on his face. The true nature of his evil side shining brightly for one of the last times.
He began to look at night sky. The calm and serene sky filled with unimaginable horrors and treasures as he gazed at the sky.
"Sometimes I miss that ole lady. She was and is powerful but she is likely to preoccupied to deal with what will happen next." Rex talked to himself.
A psss sound came from around Rex. He had no idea who or what was around. He could figure it out yes, but that takes the fun out of allowing the person to reveal themselves.
"Remember a sexy lady by chance?" The voice whispered.
Rex thought about it. He could remember a few of them.
"Look at the shadows over there and tell me who it is." The voice echoed.
Rex walked over and a crying woman grasped him tightly. He could smell the roses of that came from her hair, her perfume that highlighted the smell to that of a garden of roses, and her natural smell which was like a vegetable patch.
When the duo walked out. Rex was stunned to see Fenggo from when he was helping Tiamat. Her natural smile and the tears in her eyes brought about a happy joy moment in Rex.
"Welcome to the Eighth Realm, Fenggo." Rex told her.
"Thanks! I know I am not a human so, I am trying to make sure that I am not caught." She replied.
The look in Rex's eyes told her all that she needed to know. Rex decided to tell her anyways, "There is no person or being who would willingly hurt in my embrace. Even when we are separated, if some lowlife dares to harm you. I will hunt them down to the ends of the universe." Rex replied coldhearted.
Fenggo just smiled more at Rex. She gently wrapped his around her waist and used it to keep her naturally warmer. His heat seemed to radiant much more now than before.
Has Rex walked slowly with her in tow. Everyone else had arrived in the Oracle's house. His small spacious house with more women than most castles. The last noble kept seeing his death in visions.
The family of Savannah reunited with a joyous occasion. Their tears of pain, suffering, and reunion all mixed together.
"Did something happen tonight?" The Oracle asked.
"Yes. The nobles of this city are mostly dead." The ruler replied without worrying.
"Shame. They all had such good visions for the future as well. It could honestly still happen in another timeline or with the spirits. However, why was I targeted for?" The Oracle asked.
"The last noble to die needed you dead for a reason. I was not told much more but had to control the family." The other noble cried.
"Shut it. You are a grown man and made a horrible choice. That choice now weighs on the Oracle and Rex if you survive or not." The ruler ordered.
The noble still envisioning his death as Rex and Fenggo entered the house. Rex sat down and stared at the crying noble.
"Trash stand before me." Rex ordered.
The noble hearing his pride being torn in two stood up and walked over to Rex. As Rex stepped a little loud, all noise went silent.
"Trash. I heard that you were in charge of that woman's family. Is that correct?" Rex asked.
"Indeed." The noble spoke.
"Family of Savannah, come forward now." Rex demanded.
The family tearfully stepped away from Savannah and approached Rex.
"How long were you under his torture?" Rex asked.
"We were transfered three months ago." The father replied.
"Did this trash harm you all while being held captive?"
"At first, he did whip us for not obeying orders and cleaning the house. After that, he never harmed us." The wife replied.
"So the only time he hurt you was when you disobeyed?"
"Yes." A girl replied.
"Who are you?" Rex replied.
"I am an adopted daughter. They took me in just right before the family was taken hostage." The girl replied.
"How much do you know of this family?"
"Quite a bit. They were part of my parents closest friends. Their natural charisma and beauty made the town we lived in wonderful." The girl replied tearfully.
"Is there any reason why anyone would use this family to kill people with?" Rex asked with a strange look in his eyes.
"Honestly, other than family being one of the top families in the Eighth Realm. No there is no reason. That is just simply from the generations passing their wealth down and growing it." The girl finished.
"Thank you." Rex spoke happily.
"Family, there is a reason why you should kill yourselves right here and now. Do you know what it is?" Rex asked.
The father and mother nodded.
"Good. Either leave your belongings and clothes off to the side and die one way or another or return the charity of your lives to the ruler. If you choose death, your wealth and belongings will become mine." Rex finished.
The father and mother decided to give their belongings to Rex.
"Please do not allow my mother and father to die." Savannah begged.
"If word got out that they were captured and used. What would happen to the other families?" Rex asked.
Savannah thought for only a second before she broke down in tears.
"Savannah, if you wish to save your parents. Become someone worthy of my name. Either as a Maid who is used as a Mercenary, an Assassin, or simply a maid who cleans up my houses. That choice is yours. If you don't, I can assure you that death will follow." Rex told her.
She nodded.
"Congratulations on becoming on of my maids. Your contributions will determine where your family lies within my city." Rex spoke.
Tears ran down as the family hugged each other.
"As for you Trash, this is your punishment."
