Five years ago, the Demon Lord was finally reincarnated and his growth, unlike that of Humans, was three times faster.
He now looked like a teenager of about fifteen years old and within a year he would have reached his adult form and he would finally have access to all his powers.
However, even if he didn't have access to all his powers yet because his body was too young to support such power, his mind was fully awake and he had even inherited the memory of his previous lives which was an undeniable asset.
Two years ago, his Prophets had finally tracked down the Golden Dragon, his sworn enemy, but they had only been able to locate the world he was currently in because a mysterious force was clouding their powers.
With the knowledge of his past lives he had deduced that the birthmark of the Dragons must have appeared on his wrist when he turned 18, and that was why the Prophets had been able to locate him.
And the Mages this time must have remembered their past mistakes and made him undetectable so that the Prophets could not spot him until he was strong enough to defend himself... Just the fact that the Golden Dragon was on Astoria, which was a world in the intermediate plane of existence, showed how careful the Humans had been.
When his Prophets had found out which world he was in, he had sent elite soldiers to infiltrate the 5 Academies that were in that world, because like everyone else, the reincarnation of the Golden Dragon would have to learn to fight and his soldiers had been sent to find potential targets and eliminate them when they got an opportunity.
His elite soldiers were all Superior Demons who were able to take on the appearance of Humans, and since Demons stopped aging when they became adults, their human appearances looked like men and women in their twenties which was perfect for infiltrating the Academies since they all looked to be in the same age range as the Golden Dragon.
Everything was going according to his plan when a few hours earlier, his most powerful Prophet had come to find him to tell him that the soul of The Divine Mage had just arrived in Astoria and that he absolutely had to find him in order to eliminate him because this Divine Mage represented a even greater threat to him than the Golden Dragon.
But still thanks to his previous lives, he had told his Prophet that he should not worry and that the Divine Mage was for the moment also completely harmless.
They had time to find him and eliminate him and so, he had just told him to warn his elite soldiers that the Divine Mage had made his appearance on Astoria and that they should all remain vigilant.
For the moment, he couldn't yet open transdimensional portals at will, but fortunately once his soldiers were sent out, they could all receive his orders through communication stones that had a purple spatial rune on them.
Once his Prophet left to communicate his orders to his elite soldiers, he returned to a dimension that his predecessors had created and began to meditate.
This dimension was saturated with demonic energy which was the equivalent of spiritual energy for Humans and the more he absorbed the more powerful he would become.
It was only a matter of time before he found the Golden Dragon and the Divine Mage and when that time comes, he will be ready to welcome them properly.

Astoria world 2.01
When Cassy woke up the next morning and saw that Paige was next to her, she knew that she hadn't been dreaming and that everything that happened yesterday was real, and she immediately felt bad for breaking down like that last night.
She got up, being careful not to wake Paige, and she saw a pile of clothes on a chair near the bed with a note on it, there wasn't much written on it but the message went straight to her heart, it was written 'For you my Cassy'.
This time Carol had given her a simple khaki colored tunic with three quarter length sleeves that went down to her mid-thigh and black pants that looked like leggings, she had also provided her with black sandals to go with her outfit and after she was dressed she decided to let Paige sleep and see if anyone else was awake because she was starving.
When she came out of the room she saw right away that Steven was asleep right next to the door and as she gently closed the door so as not to wake Paige her stomach started to rumble and she heard Steven chuckled.
Cassy blushed instantly, damn that was really super embarrassing she thought, but Steven smiled at her and he stood up immediately.
He then took her hand to guide her and he said, "Carol prepared some food for you in case you were hungry and since she didn't know if you would prefer to eat something sweet or something salty she made a cake just for you and a dish that you can heat up if you want."
Cassy then asked him curiously, "Did you stay there just in case I needed some help?"
Steven smiled at her and said as if falling asleep at his 'girlfriend's' doorstep was a normal thing to do, "I just wanted to be there in case you needed something or needed to talk to someone.
Carol told us everything... I'm sorry Cassy, for what you've been through, you can come see me anytime, I will always be there for you."
Cassy nodded but she didn't really want to talk about it right now so she asked him to change the topic, "Steven... This tingling sensation I feel in my hand and arm, it's because you're my soulmate right?"
Steven just nodded and she then asked him, "It's a little uncomfortable don't you think, is there a way to make it stop?"
