Sleepless Night

It was two in the morning. Blake's eyes were still wide open. The chandelier on the ceiling became the place he stared when he couldn't sleep.

Earlier, around ten, he received a call. The caller that he assumed was his mother only said, "It's me, mom." The call literally ended right after that. When he tried to call the number again, the phone was now off. That call made his mind couldn't stop thinking.  'Is she in danger?' 'Where is she?' 'Why did she call?'

Getting off from the bed, he went straight to his wardrobe. This hotel suite was only for him and his grandmother. No one else was allowed there. So all their things remained there and were taken care of.

He stared at the swimming trunk that he left there. It's been a while since he went swimming and he always did whenever he needed to clear his mind. Grabbing it, he went and changed into his swimming attire.

Ding!

A message that came from Marissa appeared on his phone screen.
