The Suspect

Agnes frowned and she gasped. The question that Marissa just asked her made her react quickly, "So, you asked me, who are you?" Her heart started beating faster. The fact that Marissa couldn't remember herself and acted this calm surprised her.

Marissa nodded, answering Agnes' question.

"We need to examine you once again Mrs. Marissa." She paused, feeling worried. She was young and still had a lot of things to learn but seeing how calm a patient could be even though she didn't remember anything, this was a new experience for her.

"But doctor, can you just tell me what I need first." Marissa's voice was still weak and hoarse. Talking that much made her throat dry and hurt.

"I guess you must have shouted a lot." Agnes felt bad. When she checked Marissa's body, she shook her head seeing how much bruises she had. Thanks to God, she didn't break any of her bones.

"Shouted?" Marissa frowned.
