"What secret?"

"Well...your relationship with him, I won't tell anyone."

Blake and Marissa knew each other since they were young, but one accident cost Blake his chances at being with Marissa. So against his better judgement, in order to be near her, he agreed to be her best friend.

Ten years later, using the pressure his family imposed upon him to get married. Blake concocted a plan to enlist Melissa's help. Her role was to play as his wife.

A week had passed but Blake was still unconscious. Marissa who was looking out of the window staring blank at the tree in the hospital garden. Her mind was now empty or more like she couldn't think of anything at that moment.

"Have you eaten?" Ruby asked the moment she entered the room.

"Oh sorry grandma, I didn't notice you came." She quickly approached her and held onto her hand. Ruby was weak since she collapsed before. Even walking was hard for her.

"Amber is taking the food from the car, you didn't eat yet right?" Ruby guessed. From the pale and weak look on Marissa, she could tell.

Marissa smiled, shaking her head, confirming Ruby guessed. "I don't feel like eating."

"Still, you have to. You need to gain energy, take care of someone, you need a lot of energy." Sighed, Ruby averted her eyes on Blake who was lying on the bed. Blake's head and the right leg were bandaged.
