Their Past Incident

"Sandra, is that really you?" Wanda asked, her surprise evident as she took in the sight of her old friend with her daughter and son-in-law. Despite Marissa's assurance that it was a simple twisted ankle case, Wanda had rushed to the hospital anyway.

Sandra's frown deepened, "Wanda?"

"Yes, it's me, Wanda," she replied, attempting to move forward for a hug, but Sandra stepped back.

"I need to go," Sandra excused herself. Meeting Wanda here was unexpected, and she didn't want to stay any longer.

As Sandra made her way out of the hospital room in a hurry, memories from the past flooded her mind. Guilt and shame washed over her as she remembered what she had done to Wanda all those years ago.
