Attacking The Wrong Person

"Idora?" Gray questioned, his eyes fixated on the woman who had just been called by that name.

"Oh, that's my old classmate. Idora was a nickname I had in high school," she explained, forcing a smile to mask her underlying anxiety. "Could you wait here for a few minutes, Gray? Just five minutes."

Gray nodded, returning her smile. He watched as Idora walked toward the woman who had greeted her, his curiosity piqued.

He and Idora had been engaged for two months now. Initially, their engagement was purely a business arrangement, but over time, Gray found himself genuinely interested in her, and their relationship had started to grow naturally.

"Are you trying to ruin my relationship now?" Idora asked through gritted teeth.

"What? I was simply calling your name. What's wrong with that?" Martha argued, feigning innocence.
