Blake and Marissa knew each other since they were young, but one accident cost Blake his chances at being with Marissa. So against his better judgement, in order to be near her, he agreed to be her best friend.

Ten years later, using the pressure his family imposed upon him to get married. Blake concocted a plan to enlist Melissa's help. Her role was to play as his wife.

Blake mustered all his strength to open his eyes, fighting against the heaviness in his head. As his vision cleared, he was shocked to find himself in an unfamiliar room. Turning his gaze to the right, he discovered a woman lying beside him. Anxious to confirm her identity, he cautiously peered closer, but his movement was abruptly halted as he realised his left hand was securely fastened to the headboard.

Panic coursed through him as Blake attempted to forcefully untie his hands, but his efforts proved futile as the restraints held firm, resembling handcuffs. Closing his eyes, he focused on calming himself down, taking deep breaths to steady his racing heart.

"Phone," he muttered to himself, the realisation dawning on him that his phone might be his only lifeline. With determination, he tried to reach into his pants pocket using his free hand, only to be confronted with the stark realisation that he was completely naked.
