Chapter 22: Solo Clear(1)

Chapter 22: Solo Clear(1)

After Aakesh returned to Pangea, he proceeded in the direction of the dungeon, Hunting Ground!

Aakesh had already cleared the easy level difficulty, and now that he had a weapon, Aakesh wanted to see if he could clear the Normal level difficulty on his own or if he could even go for Tough level difficulty.

There was a limit of entry to players, and it was three. It was made to stop adventurers from taking undue advantage of the low-level dungeons.

Aakesh soon reached the dungeon. A crowd larger than yesterday greeted him when he arrived there.

More than seventy hours had passed in the game since the launch, so many players had long achieved Level 5. Aakesh was among the minority and still below Level 5.

Soon it was Aakesh's turn. The officer on duty recognized Aakesh, so he didn't ask why Aakesh was alone.

As Aakesh reached the range of entry around the dungeon, he disappeared from the area and found himself in familiar surroundings.

Aakesh decided to start with easy difficulty and check just how fast he could clear it today. Aakesh unequipped the amulet since he was here to test himself, not indulge in a massacre.

Time flew by, and Aakesh reached the boss wolf.

The wolf lunged at Aakesh, with its claws and jaws aiming to tear him into pieces.

Aakesh skilfully parried the wolf's attacks and countered with a thrust of his sword.

Puchi! Howl!

The blade pierced through the wolf's skin, forcing the creature to cry in pain. The wolf still wasn't dead, so Aakesh slashed his sword, taking the wolf's head in a precise cut.

The howling came to an abrupt end as the wolf exploded into light particles.

[You have gained 50 XP!]

The battle ended soon after it began. Aakesh bent down and picked up the coins. This time, there was no item, but instead, Aakesh won fifty copper coins.

Aakesh cheerfully placed the coins in his pocket since the more money, the merrier his situation. Now that he had the basics of the sword, he needed to buy one for himself.

An Ordinary grade sword would at least cost ten to twenty bronze coins, so Aakesh was still very far from his target.

The next moment, a white light covered Aakesh, and soon he returned outside. The officer looked shocked, as it hadn't even been five minutes since Aakesh entered the dungeon and he was already outside.

The officer wanted to talk to Aakesh, but before he could, another white light covered Aakesh, and he soon disappeared from the area.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself back at the front of the jungle. The surroundings were similar yet different at the same time.

The trees in front of him were wider and taller, restricting his actions further.

Aakesh took a deep breath and stepped into the jungle. He had only taken two steps when he saw a group of wolves charging at him.

There were six wolves in the group, with five of them being Level 4 and the last one being Level 5.

Aakesh's sword skillfully moved, and with every slash, a head fell to the ground.

[You have gained 1 XP!]

[You have gained 50 XP!]

In only a matter of several seconds, Aakesh earned 55 XP. One of the Level 4 wolves also exploded into light particles, so Aakesh gained another six copper coins.

Aakesh cleaned the sword's blade using the leaves and then proceeded ahead.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Crashing sounds successively rang out in the area as wolves' heads fell to the ground one by one. Aakesh couldn't help but sit down to calm his heart after killing so many wolves.

'They will revive back!' Aakesh was mumbling this sentence in his mind whenever he killed a wolf.

[You have gained 50 XP!]

[You have gained 50 XP!]

Aakesh gained 350 XP this time as a group of seven Level 5 wolves attempted to corner him.

This time, Aakesh's luck was great. Out of the seven wolves, five exploded into light particles, and Aakesh gained another fifty copper coins.

Aakesh sat down for a few minutes, and after his heart had stopped beating so quickly, he proceeded ahead.

Roar! Roar!

A pair of roars rang in the area after Aakesh had taken a few steps forward. Aakesh looked ahead and saw a pair of wolves looking at him with cruelty in their eyes.

These wolves were also Level 5, but their furs shone brightly in the light of the sun, peering through the leaves.

Both wolves lunged at Aakesh simultaneously, not wanting to give him enough time to fight back.

Unfortunately for them, Aakesh was their opponent. Aakesh's movement speed had almost reached fifty, so before the wolves could reach him, he reached them.

Aakesh swung his sword from top to bottom, splitting the wolf into two. The second wolf was taken aback by such quick movements, but when it saw its partner's death, its eyes turned red from rage.

Aakesh skillfully moved out of its way, and when the wolf was in front of him, he raised his sword, cutting the wolf in two.

Fortunately, Aakesh didn't have to see the gory scene of internal organs on the ground as both the wolves exploded into light particles.

[You have gained 50 XP!]

[You have gained 50 XP!]

Even though Aakesh gained the same amount of XP, he was sure that these wolves were more powerful than the previous Level 5 he faced. Only the Level 5 boss wolf in easy difficulty was stronger than these two wolves.

Aakesh then bent down and picked up his rewards. The two wolves gave him twenty-five copper coins each, totaling fifty.

It wasn't the end of the dungeon, and Aakesh had already earned more than five hundred XP and more than one bronze coin.

As Aakesh continued on, he discovered a group of more than ten wolves approaching him at a rapid rate. All the wolves were Level 5, and the leading wolf was the same as the two wolves he had faced before.

Even though Aakesh had high attributes, he couldn't just let himself get surrounded by these wolves, so Aakesh chose the leading wolf and rushed at it.
