The birthday party would not begin till late in the afternoon. So Gracy specifically made lunch after they were done. She helped Kelly get dressed up, and they both left the house a few minutes after three.
When Mrs Vivian saw that Kelly no longer came to her place, she was upset. After all, in her own heart, she treated them like her children.
When Gracey arrived at Sandra's house, the party was yet to begin. Caro happily pulled Kelly to her room after she collected the money from Gracey.
Kelly had promised his sister to behave himself, so when Caro handed him some toys, he found a spot to play and did not disturb her.
Caro sat down with her phone and chatted with her friends. From time to time, she would look at Kelly, but the young boy continued to play.
After playing alone for a while, Kelly was bored. He wanted to ask Caro if he could get other toys, but afaird that he would break his promises to Gracey, he kept his mouth shut.
Since he was well-behaved, Caro liked him a lot. So once the party started, she went to get some snacks and juice for Kelly.
Kelly was like every other child when he saw the delicious snack, he thanked her and ate them happily. After eating and drinking, Caro taught him how to play a video game.
She did not mind missing her sister's birthday party, after all, there was really nothing for her to do. Her sister always called her a child and would not allow her to join the fun.
"Do you feel sad for not joining the party?" Kelly asked. Seeing that Caro was nice to him, he dared to ask.
"No, trust me, I am having more fun staying here than joining the party," Caro shook her head. Her sister would never choose games she could play, so she was more comfortable in her room.
"Okay," Kelly said. He felt that things were quite different here. During Gracey's last birthday, they all celebrated together as a family.
"Do you want to take a look?" Caro asked. She felt that he was tired of playing games and was curious about the party downstairs.
"Yes," Kelly was happy to leave the room, after all, he had been there for three hours. "Alright, but you must remember to stay with me," Caro warned as they stepped out of the room. Since she collected his sister's money, she did not want any accidents to happen to the boy.
"Okay," Kelly replied. Caro felt that the little boy was very obedient. So she leads the way holding his hand. Downstairs, the teenagers were dancing, and a few people played games. The party seemed to be going well.
Kelly felt that the music was too loud, but he did not complain. He kept looking around for his sister, but he could not see her in the crowd.
He pulled Carol's hand to get her attention. Caro lowered her head to ask him what the matter was. "Have you seen my sister?" He asked.
Caro had not been paying attention, so when the little boy asked, she ran her eyes through the room, but she really could not see Gracey anywhere. "My sister is over there. She must know where your sister is. Let's go, asked her," Caro said and led her over to Sandra.
"You decide to join the fun?" Sandra asked when she saw her sister.
"Have you seen his sister?" Caro ignored her question and went straight to the reason she found her. Sandra looked around the hall but couldn't find her.
"Maybe she went to use the restroom," Sandra did not care. Kelly felt this was the only possible explanation. "Do you want to wait for her?" Caro asked.
"What is the time?" Kelly asked.
"It's twenty minutes to seven," Caro did not know why he was asking for the time, but she answered.
"I will wait for her here," Kelly made up his mind. Gracey had told him they would leave the party once it was seven. After all, it was not safe for them to stay out so late at night.
Caro did not argue with him and sat down next to him. "we can see the hall from this place, so we will see your sister once she comes back," Caro said. Kelly nodded his head. He was only looking for Gracey to remind her that they had to leave soon.
Unfortunately, even when it was passed seven, Gracey was nowhere to be seen. Sandra then called her phone to find out where she was. Although the party music was loud, Gracey could still have felt the vibration.
"She is not taking her call," Sandra said. Afaird that Kelly would cry, she asked a few friends, but no one could find Gracey.
"Can you give me your phone," Kelly asked Caro. He remembered that Whitney had made him learn her phone number. She told him to call her number if he was in trouble or scared. Now that he could not find Gracey, he decided to call her.
"Who do you want to call?" Caro was amazed at how composed the little boy was acting.
"My big sister," Kelly said. Thinking that Kelly was afraid, She handed over the phone.
"Let's head back to my room. This place is noisy," Caro said. Kelly got up and followed her back upstairs. He immediately dialled Whitney's number.
....
Gracey was enjoying the party, she also met the people her friends wanted to introduce to her. She found out that she could make money faster by helping them to sell drugs at parties. The pay was significant. The temptation was much, so she happily joined them.
After getting a new job, she helped them sell to a few customers at the party. Gracey was brilliant, she learned how to pass the drugs to customers without alerting others. After some time, Gracey was pressed and decided to go and use the bathroom.
She had just stepped out of the bathroom when she felt something cover her nose. She tried to hold her breath and struggle, but things did not work out as she had planned. She was quickly pulled away from the party, just at the same time, Kelly started looking for her.
"Have you seen Gracey?" Sandra asked another friend.
"I saw her walk towards the bathroom, but she never came back," a girl answered.
"Did she have too much to drink that she slept off in the toilet?" another girl joked. They all laughed.
"Let's go check," Sandra said. She knew that it would be difficult to explain if something should happen to Gracey at her party. Moreover, her younger brother was here.
