Surrendering to her fate

The Siblings got back home, but life became more difficult. Whitney could not go to school or work. Meanwhile, Gracey would have nightmares every time she closed her eyes.

Her mother was the most fearful, but after her nagging for three days and nights, the couple had no choice but to agree, especially when Natalie said she could not go back to school when she was unsure of her friend's safety. After listening to her, the couple decided to rent the place to the siblings.

Whitney was like a daughter to them. If they could not even take a little risk for her, they felt that the years of treating her like their daughter would become a joke.

"Good," Natalie said. "I will be going to shop for a bit. I have to take gifts back for my roommates and coursemate who help sent my assignment. You can come over around Five to discuss with dad," She turned to Whitney.

"Okay," Whitney thanked her with all her heart. How many people would risk getting implicated in their situation? It was indeed a blessing that Natalie was helping them.

"Why are you so grateful to her? It is not as if they are allowing us to live there for free," Gracey said when Natalie was gone.
